What differentiates 'Flower by Kenzo' from any perfume I've ever had

Happy Wednesday everyone. Today I want to share with you my thought about this Flower by Kenzo.

Flowers by Kenzo is a contemporary floral perfume for urban women. It's quite floral and powdery.
Some of the notes you will find in it : Bulgarian Rose, Cassia, Hedione, White Musk, Vanilla.

I got this as a gift/souvenir from Tokyo, Japan and even though it's absolutely different from any perfume I've  ever worn, I still like it, maybe because it's a souvenir  from japan, or maybe because of  it's elegant, modern, classic bottle.
This perfume is quite strong when you apply it, so it takes a few minutes to settle down. To be totally honest, it's not my type of perfume (not that it's bad, it's just not for me) but as you can see, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Because of its elegant and contemporary flacon, this Flower by Kenzo has found its place on my dresser as a decorative piece and a souvenir. (I know, it may sound strange, I understand, I never thought some flacon of perfume could be used as a decor, either).

Have you ever used any perfume as a decorative piece? Let me know in the comments below and have a lovely day.

  7. I've liked Kenzo perfumes in the past but I don't recall trying this. The packaging is gorgeous isn't it? That's the one thing that always gets me with Kenzo perfumes.

  12. Wow, you just gave my flashbacks of being a little girl and seeing this perfume on my mom's dresser! She was always gifted it by her friend from France and I always loved the way it smelt, but totally forgot about it as an adult. I'll have to try and get my hands on it, it smells so good!

    Have a wonderful day, Nina!

  15. I understand what you mean when you say you wonder if you like it more because it was bought in Japan - I've always been convinced scents attached themselves to places, bringing back lovely memories whenever worn :)
