Will you like Lancome "La vie set belle" perfume?

Happy Monday everyone,
I hope you had a wonderful start of the year. Since this is my first post in 2016, I just want to wish you all happy and sussesful year. Today I want to share with you my thoughts on Lancome perfume "La vie set belle".
Ninasstyleblog,Lancome,Review
Lancome "La vie est belle"

The label says:  "La vie est belle" introduces the first ever iris gourmand. The juice is made with the most precious natural ingredients, a modern interpretation of an oriental fragrance with a twist of gourmand. It entwines the elegance of iris with the strength of Patchouli and the sweetness of a gourmand blend, for an incredible scent with depth and complexity.”
 Top Note: Iris
 Middle Note: Patchouli
 Base Note: Sweet Gourmand
“La vie est belle” is like a “dessert” smell to me __ it’s like a very sweet vanilla. I like the drydown much better than its first few hours, but still, it’s too heavy scent for me. My mom loved it though, so I gave it to her and made her very happy.
Lancome "La vie set belle" can be a winter perfume only, because in hot weather it can feel overpowering. And also, this is not the perfume to be worn in office, in working environment, again, because of its powerful scent. It’s so strong, that you will need just one spritz or it will give you a headache. Lasting power is unbelievable__ it can last all day on the skin.
To me, the best thing about this perfume was a gorgeous package.

If you are not very sweet scent-lover, then you will probably not like this perfume but if you love little extra sweetness-spiciness in your perfume, then you should try “La vie est belle”.

Have you tried "La vie set belle"? Let me know in the comments below and have a nice day beauties.

  12. This is one of my favourite perfumes. I don't find it overpowering, but I usually only use one spray. I agree that it's definitely more of a fall/winter scent though. I prefer something a little lighter like Prada Candy in the warmer months (though I'll wear that any time of year).

  13. I don't think I will be a fan of this perfume because it has a sweet scent which I typically stay away from. I tend to go for muskier or clean/fresh scents.

  25. Hello again! I was "off", travelling, and when back I swear I needed recovery from holidays! I tried La Vie est Belle, but like you, I felt it was nice, but just not for me. I like some of Lancome perfumes, but that one is what you said, a bit overpowering to me :)
