My Paris diaries (Part 2)

Hi everyone, Hope you had an amazing weekend. Today I'm going to continue talking about my Paris trip. (See Part 1 __ Here)

The Louvre

So, next day when I woke up, opened the curtains and looked outside__ the sun was shining on  the Avenue des Champs-elysees and I couldn't believe my eyes__ it was my dream come-true. I remembered the photo of the Champs-Elysees that was on the wall right in front of my school desk, in our French class; how many times I have dreamed that maybe one day I would see that avenue and now I could watch how sun was rising on the Champs-Elysees and how beautiful sunset was from my window. (I can imagine how beautiful it would be if it was Spring or summer)

After Breakfast at Paris Marriott Champs Elysees hotel, we were ready to explore the most romantic city in the world. We walked to Place de la Concorde, it took us nearly 20 minutes from Marriott hotel to get there. We took some pictures, but we didn't ride the Big Wheel and made my daughter upset (LoL) but I just couldn't force myself to go there, (I'm still not sure why, because I believe I'm OK with height.)

Then, we walked through the Tuileries Garden to Louvre museum. Tuileries was quite entairtening for my daughter because of these cute birds all over.

There were some restaurants in the garden.

In Tuileries I realized that I should have gone to Paris in Spring/Summer, it would be absolutely beautiful.

It was quite cold that day, so I was very happy when we reached the Louvre, I took some pictures but we didn't go inside the Louvre museum because I couldn't imagine myself waiting in line for hours, with my 4-years old, so yes, I really regret  that I left Paris without seeing the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and many other pieces of Art.

After I took some pictures, we went to Carrousel du Louvre.

This underground shopping center was really crowded, so after quick shoppping we went to have lunch and since  it started raining, we went back to the hotel.
In the evening, we went to the nearby Italian restaurant to have dinner.

That's all for today, beauties. Hope you are having great day so far.

  8. It's so wonderful when a dream comes true. Glad you got to experience Paris to the fullest. The Louvre is a bit overwhelming for adults, I can't even imagine what it would have been like for a 4-year old. So don't beat yourself up too much. She's just an old lady. ;o)
