Our trip to Hershey Park and Chocolate World in Pennsylvania

A few weeks ago, during Spring Break, we took our 6 years old daughter to Hershey Park and Chocolate World, in Pennsylvania. Even though the season was not officially started yet, the Hershey Park was open for the Easter weekend. We took advantage of off-season (that meant lower admission prices and less crowdy park) and we packed our suitcases for a 3-day getaway. After 3-hour drive in a rainy weather, we came to gorgeous  Marriott hotel, just few miles away from Hershey Park. Next morning, after breakfast, we were ready to have fun at Hershey Park.

We bought Hershey Park Admission tickets for two days. First day, we had a lot of fun __ weather was absolutely amazing. As we expected, the park was not very crowdy, so there were no long lines near the rides, that made our day, haha. My daughter got her first full face painting and didn't want that day ever end, haha, we found an amazing Italian restaurant near our hotel and enjoyed our dinner.
Next day, rain destroyed our plans about Hershey Park, but we visited Chocolate World in Hershey Park (the whole building smelled heavenly)__ how could we leave without buying some souvenirs and chocolates from Hershey world?

3-hour drive to Pennsylvania was little tiring for my daughter but it was still worth to visit Hershey Park, though I believe, there is not enough reason for us to go back second time. We will rather visit near by amusement parks.

Have you been to Hershey Park yet? Let me know in the comments below.

Wish you all a fabulous week ahead.

  3. Aw, your daughter looks so cute with her face painting! We went to Hershey once a few years ago with a lot of family members and had a great time! It was obviously before Aviah was born, so we'd go back for her to experience it. We went during peak season, so it was (VERY) pricy, but the weather was great and we did a lot of things. On our last day, we did an Amish tour that we stumbled upon and loved it. It took us around on a horse and buggy and we were able to see how the Amish live, which was cool. Thanks for sharing your experience with us, beauty, and I hope you have a great week!
